Doula's are support people

Providing others with the tools to thrive as a new family.

A doula is trained assistant to the birthing person through their birth and beyond. They offer nonjudgmental support and education about birth and postpartum. The goal of every doula is to come and assist where needed and then slowly fade out, leaving parents feeling confident about their ability to care for their newborn.

Doula's are shown to lower cesarian rate and raise breastfeeding success.  They work to understand what you are hoping to achieve and help to advocate for you during and after your birth.
